Short Films and Feature Films.
Having shot the powerful World War Two drama Requiem on location last year, Seth has expanded RedSnappa’s creative slate this year with the recent completion of comedy drama The Car Park and the heart-rending Auschwitz-based drama, Voices of the Holocaust. At present, Seth is working on the development of the satirical comedy The Magpie and full-length feature film, Talking Totalitarian Blues, about a dissident rock band in 1980s East Germany and RedSnappa is piloting the TV series the Scottish Hedgewitch.
RedSnappa is the culmination of a personal 25 year quest by Seth to achieve meaningful, challenging and life-affirming storytelling in the medium of film and photography. Seth’s credits include the BAFTA-winning short film The Swimming Pool and as senior house producer for television production company Track 29 Ltd he directed more than 250 national and international television commercials. He has also worked with leading production company Wark Clements and with Scottish Television.
Seth is also in demand as a director for the theatre and his work includes productions of plays by Harold Pinter, Howard Barker and Brian Friel. In order to maintain his empathy with actors, Seth still occasionally accepts acting roles, most recently as Pontius Pilate in the internationally renowned Glasgow Passion Play.
In the fast-moving 24/7 world of digital media, Seth’s skills as a director and mentor are much in demand by global financial and professional services companies who retain his corporate film and video services to coach their senior personnel on peak performance media skills as spokespeople. His skills as an original and innovative magazine, book and commercial photographer are also much in demand by major corporations and media outlets alike, including News International and Newsquest.
However Seth’s first love remains film and television and, through RedSnappa, he is delivering on his ambition to create some of the most moving, memorable and motivational cinematic experiences available in the media today.
